Movie serial Perils of the Wild

Funloving Pearl White, working in a garment sweatshop, gets her big chance when she "opens" for a delayed Shakespeare play...with a comic vaudeville performance. Her brief stage career leads her into those "horrible" moving pictures, where she comes to love the chaotic world of silent movies, becoming queen of the serials. But the consequences of movie stardom may be more than her leading man can take

Pauline becomes involved in a series of adventures around the world and is aided by her ever present friend, George.

Professor Hargrave (James Durkin), a noted scientist, is in Indo-China seeking an ivory-disc that is engraved with the formula for a deadly gas. Dr. Barshan ('John Davidson' (qb)), his assistant Wang (Frank Lackteen) and his henchmen are also after the sacred formula and will stop at nothing to obtain it. Professor Hargrave's daughter, Pauline (Evalyn Knapp), and flight-engineer Robert Ward (Craig Reynolds (I)') do their best to protect Hargraves from the band of villains.

Trekking through African jungles, explorer Rod Bedford and his companion, Joe Marks, are captured by a wild cannibal tribe. Kimpo, a young white boy, whose presence in the jungle is as mysterious as his immunity from the savages is strange, rescues them. The natives hold the boy in superstitious fear. Later, Bedford and Marks come to the camp of Alexander Marley, an archaeologist, who is blinded with fever and is tended by his daughter, Phyllis, and a man named "Brute" Hanley, who has been shipwrecked with them on the African coast. Marley has come to Africa seeking his other daughter, Helen, and her young son, who have been taken captive through the perfidy of a trusted aide to Helen's husband, another scientist. Marley dies but gives Phyllis and Bedford each half a map which will help them locate the savage Bougagou tribe, known as the "tiger men" and who have a great treasure.

The Perils of Penelope Pitstop is an American animated television series produced by Hanna-Barbera Productions that premiered on CBS on September 13, 1969. The show lasted two full seasons, with a total of 17 half-hour episodes produced and released, the last first-run episode airing on January 17, 1970. Repeats aired until September 4, 1971. It is a spin-off of the Wacky Races cartoon, reprising the characters of Penelope Pitstop and the Anthill Mob. This show airs reruns on Cartoon Network classic channel Boomerang.

When Coast Guard Captain Tom Norris, at Point Lobos, Maine, save Natalie Aldridge from drowning, a romance blossoms much to the dislike of Carlton Aldrich, Natalie's uncle, who wishes her to marry Lonsdayle. In spite of her uncle, Natalie and Tom are married and live in a small cottage near the Coast Guard station, and Aldridge ignores them. Tom is assigned to capture the oyster pirates and does so, but the pirate leader escapes and plans to keep Tom from testifying against his men by kidnapping Natalie. Professor Campbell's expedition into the hills of Libya obtains a papyrus which might reveal the hiding place of the Golden Tablets of Hippocrates, containing lost medical secrets. Also in the region is intrepid Nyoka Gordon, still seeking her father, lost on a previous expedition. She alone can translate the papyrus, which directs our heroes through deadly perils (including the Tunnel of Bubbling Death) into the land of the Tuaregs. Opposing them are Vultura, Queen of the Desert, and her Arab ally Cassib, both greedy for the treasure...
